This place is a hidden gem on the corner of Pike and 10th. Do yourself a favor and order the beer battered tacos and potato taquitos. It can get busy but if you go for lunch, it is a great time to unwind and eat great food. Full of flavor and housemade sauces.

This is based solely on their margaritas. This is hands down my absolute favorite place for a margarita in Seattle/Capital Hill area. They have plenty of options, but I love them spicy, so my go-to and recommendation is the jalo-pina. This last time, they were extra spicy and per the bartender the peppers they had been getting recently have been spicier, so the hotness could vary.

They serve food and obviously other cocktails. But I only come here for margaritas, and the rest of my night never disappoints.

From the moment you walk in you know it's no ordinary Mexican restaurant. So beautifully decorated. Fantastic margaritas, real handmade corn tortillas really take your dish to the next level. Feels very authentic, I can't wait to come back! Found Mexico in Cap. Hill!

I absolutely love Poquitos! My friends brought me here before catching a show in Cap Hill and holy cats, the food was amazing! I'm usually the designated driver (don't like the taste of alcohol) but the sips I had of their margaritas were amazing! Friendly and fun staff, cozy atmosphere, great location with parking (paid), and a good time had by all! I highly recommend Poquitos!

Aside from an outstanding culinary experience, they went above and beyond to accommodate our party of three on a busy Sunday afternoon. We had one wheelchair in our party and they gave us they're largest table. I'm sure they lost some business but they gained mine fo life.

I really love the vibe of Poquitos and the food is great! It's not authentic Mexican but more of an American-Mexican fusion. Everything I've ordered was flavorful and delicious, and the staff are always super friendly.

We first ventured into Poquitos on New Years Eve last year, and a restaurant down the street "lost" our NYE reservation. We were able to get a table at Poquitos, and we were extremely pleased with the little mishap that resulted in our finding this gem!

Poquitos is exquisite. From the decor, to the service, and finally the delicious food and well crafted drinks, we have found ourselves coming back. I have walked from my clinic on First Hill to Poquitos just to get a fix of their amazing gauc and giant, fluffy cheese quesadillas.

I cannot recommend this fabulous restaurant enough - for anyone in CH or looking to find delicious food in the Seattle area. Parking can be difficult given its location, but I find myself walking down to Poquitos just to enjoy a nice drink and appetizer (which their happy hour menu is both extensive and reasonable).

I have been to this place a few times and always like it. I can understand how some of the reviews are not great due to spotty service (particularly when busy), but the food is always excellent.

I sat at the bar and started with the Poquito's margarita. I am not a huge margarita fan, but really liked that.

I ordered the chips with guacamole to start. The guacamole is outstanding, as good as any I have ever had. The chips are good also. I ordered the half order and the basket is huge (although I quickly ran out of guac so that about half of chips went to waste). They could have a better balance, I bet that happens a lot).

I then ordered the prawns with salsa verda. It comes with rice and beans--where even the beans have a really good flavor. The prawns were just wonderful and the sauce was sublime. This is an excellent dish, Mexican done perfectly. I am still thinking about that sauce.

Like every Mexican place ever, they should have provided more tortillas (just three small ones-- I will pay a buck more for a couple more). They also took forever to clear food and present my check. However, the food is so delicious that it still deserves the highest review.
